By installing or using PetTalk AI ("the App"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What the App is

PetTalk AI is an entertainment app that uses on-device sound analysis combined with AI-generated text to produce playful, fictional "interpretations" of pet vocalisations and body language. The App is for fun and bonding — it is not a real animal translator, not a veterinary tool, and not behavioural advice.

2. Subscriptions

• The App offers an optional subscription with two tiers: weekly and yearly.
• A free 3-day trial may be offered with the yearly plan.
• Prices and trial duration are shown on the in-app paywall before purchase and are charged through your Apple ID.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
• No refunds are provided by us directly; refund requests go through Apple's standard process.

3. Free tier

A free tier is available with limited daily translations and one saved pet. You may use the App's free features without subscribing.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to make medical, diagnostic, or safety decisions for your pet.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the App or its backend.
• Use the App to harass other people or animals.

5. AI-generated content

Outputs are generated by an AI model. They may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or off-topic. We make no warranty that any specific output will match your pet's actual mood, intentions, or behaviour. Outputs are for entertainment only.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its content are owned by Artem Osetrov and protected by applicable copyright laws. The "translations" generated for you may be freely shared for personal, non-commercial use, including on social media.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Veterinary advice

The App does not provide veterinary advice. If your pet shows signs of illness, injury, or distress, please consult a licensed veterinarian.

10. Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
